Powercats are becoming the most popular form of power bareboats everywhere, and especially in the BVI and the other Caribbean islands. Spearheaded by the original Moorings Nauticblue cats, they are now popular with many other bareboat charter operators throughout the Caribbean. Their popularity is not accidental, they provide what every power bareboat charterer wants, they are fast and easy to control, have a very small draft, are very stable, wives or girlfriends love them, they have high maneuverability i.e. make you look good all the time, very economical to operate and no sails to mess with. Spacious inside and out, usually very modern and smell good inside. Most have a/c and a generator. Small  40 -45 hp diesel engines with low fuel consumption complete the picture.  Available from 35′ (10m) to 47′ (40 m) and longer, the larger power cats can accommodate up to 12 guests and up to 5 heads (toilets).

You can rent, hire or charter these vessels with or without a skipper. Remember that if you need a skipper, you’ll have to sacrifice a cabin and a head for him/her.
